Picture Research Consultants has over 30 years of experience researching images and building contacts in our ever-changing industry. Since 1972, PRC Archives has continued to build the company’s reputation for excellent photo research. We began uncovering unique images by acquiring artifacts for the PRC Archives and working with individual collectors.
- In 1995, PRC Archives worked on the first textbook to incorporate artifacts into the design “America: Pathways to the Present” for Prentice Hall
- In 1998, PRC Archives originated the photo program for the first edition of “The American Promise” for Bedford Books, using full page artifacts as chapter openers and on the covers
- The emphasis on artifact illustration programs in American History textbooks lead to PRC expanding their collection of artifacts and becoming Picture Research Consultants & Archives
Combined with an Archive offering immediate access to exclusive images, we are positioned to meet your American History photo research needs creatively and efficiently.
